Mazda has just introduced the all-new 2012 Mazda BT-50 pickup truck without any technical details. Looks kind of similar to the Ford Ranger? Well, it is. The two truck models are a result of a venture between Ford and Mazda.
Mazda’s iteration of the 2012 Mazda BT-50 pickup truck managed to get its own unique exterior and interior styling. The new 2012 Mazda BT-50 pickup truck is much less hostile looking than initially suggested on the first drawings. The 2012 Mazda BT-50 pickup truck’s exterior design is a bit more outlandish than the Ford Ranger. Exactly the same can be stated about the interior, which features all the amenities of a passenger car.
No technical details were released yet, but we should expect the same motor range offering to that of the new Ford Ranger. The only thing we got out of Mazda is this statement:
“It offers all the functionality required for business use combined with passenger car-like comfort for family use; and for active customers in Australia and Europe, it is the perfect answer for all kinds of outdoor leisure activities. With modern and refined styling both inside and out, the 2012 Mazda BT-50 pickup truck will raise the bar in the utility segment and for the first time provide a realistic alternative to the family wagon and 4×4 SUV.”
