"The market is growing 250 cc and we are studying several models in that segment and the people have gone up to 250 cc level," open the National Business Head, India Yamaha Motor Roy Kurian.
Roy further said that the 250 cc Yamaha engine is currently being prepared and said that the absence of 250 cc motorcycle is just a case pending.
"We have taken feedback from people who have purchased the 200-250cc bike and they say to us is not completely 'satisfied' with the products they have," added Roy.
"So there is a need for a better bike than what's available today. Internationally, we have a Fazer 250, but I can not comment on when we will launch the bike in that segment," added Roy.
