Ferrari F620 GT will be the most powerful to come out of Ferrari factory on February 29




Being the king of car speed and power is tough. Each yearthe competitors are catching up to your realm, so you have to constantlyadvance yourself so you won’t get dethrone. Ferrari is known to build the mostpowerful and fastest cars in the auto world, but each year companies likePorsche, Bugatti, and etc. are either catching up or surpassing Ferrari.2.21.2012
So what to do if you were once the king of the road? Simply,make more power and try to go faster, and that is exactly what Ferrari did. Thecompany has been working with a new supercar called the Ferrari F620 GT. Thiscar will be the most powerful supercar that Ferrari has ever produced. Insteadof the usual rear-mounted engine, the Ferrari F620 GT will be equipped with afront-mounted V12 engine with a rear-wheel drive. The Ferrari F620 GT willreplace the Ferarri 599.
As for now, not much we can tell about the horsepower of theFerrari F620 GT, but we expect it to make around 750 – 850 horsepower. We willknow soon when it debuts at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in a couple of weeksfrom now. In the meantime, check out its quick introduction video below.

Ferrari will officially unveil the new F620 GT on February29th, and already, a few more images of it leaked on Web along with itstechnical specifications as well.
From what we gathered, the Ferrari F620 GT is afront-engine/rear-wheel drive supercar. It is powered by a 6.3-liter V12 engineproducing about 740 horsepower and 690 pound-feet of torque, making it the mostpowerful V12 engine ever produced by Ferrari.
The new Ferrari F620 GT will be the successor to the 599GTB, which is lighter, lower and shorter than the 599 GTB it’s replacing. Witha powerful engine and a lighter curb weight, the Ferrari F620 GT can acceleratefrom 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and 100 mph in 8.3 seconds with a redlinereaching 8,700 rpm before all hell breaks loose.
