2013 Subaru Legacy with major changes



Subaru plans to release the new 2013 Subaru Legacy for the2012 New York Auto Show on April 4th, with major changes in both the look andperformance departments.

The 2013 Subaru Legacy gets a new style that looks moreaggressive with a major restructuring of the front fascia. Appearance wise, the2013 Subaru Legacy’s new look is a leap in design compared to its predecessor.

And under the hood, it is not too shabby either. It isequipped with a new 2.5-liter DOHC four-cylinder boxer engine producing 173horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque, which is mated to Subaru’s latest CVTautomatic transmission. Subaru estimated that the 2013 Legacy has a fueleconomy of 24 miles per gallon city, 32 miles per gallon highway and 27 mpgcombined. This makes it the most fuel-efficient for an-all wheel drive sedan.

For better ride and handling, the 2013 Subaru Legacy sedangets an upgrade in the suspension system as well. This includes numerousenhancements to the body structure, suspension and steering.

In addition, the 2013 Subaru Legacy gets the new EyeSightdriver-assist system, which uses a stereo camera to detect surrounding objects.The system is integrated with the Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-CollisionBraking and Vehicle Lane Departure Warning to alert the driver of dangers.
